I’ve always pined for a diesel in a Taco, since the Hilux isn’t sold here. They do the whole truck lineup (Tacoma, Tundra, 4-Runner, FJ Cruiser, Landcruiser). Just ensure you have 25 grand for the conversion, which still isn’t EPA legal since those Toyota diesel engines are foreign market and not at least 21 years old yet to be exempt.

I’ve seen those. There used to be a place here in Utah that did it, but it closed down. Still some VERY skilled Toyota mechanics around that can do it...but its pointless because its illegal.

I can’t imagine a Tundra with a tiny 4 cylinder diesel. They should have given it an V8.

HA, I thought the watermark on the 2nd video said “No Promises” at first glance. I was thinking “Wow, at least they are honest.”
